Ski resort Roháče-Spálená – Zuberec

The Roháče-Spálená resort is located at the end of the Roháče Valley below Salatín, approximately 10 km beyond Zuberec, already within the Tatra National Park. Thanks to its location in a valley with high peaks, there is reliable snow cover here and the season is one of the longest in Orava.

What awaits you?

Skiers are transported by chairlifts, supplemented by shorter lifts and a children's belt for beginners. The slopes offer a view of the Spálená dolina and the Roháčov ridge. In the area you will find a ski school, ski rental and service, as well as cafeterias; there are groomed cross-country ski trails in the vicinity.

How to get there

From Zuberec, continue through the Roháčská Valley past the Orava Village Museum and Zverovka to the end of the road at the Pod Spálenou parking lot. Parking for cars is free.

Good to know

• Ski passes are on chip cards, they are cheaper online in the e-shop.
• The cable car also runs in the summer - it is a good starting point for hikes to Roháče.
• The area is in a national park, respect its rules and do not ski outside the marked trails.
