Ski park Kubínska hola
Kubínska hoľa in Oravská Magura is the largest ski resort in Orava and one of the most famous in northern Slovakia. It is located just a few kilometers from Dolný Kubín and is popular with families, beginners and experienced skiers.
What awaits you?
The resort offers approximately 13 km of groomed slopes of varying difficulty and ten transport facilities – two cable cars and eight ski lifts – between the lower part (around 720 m) and the upper part (around 1375 m above sea level). From the upper parts there is a nice view of Roháče, Chočské vrchy and Malá Fatra. There is a ski school, rental, restaurants and accommodation directly on the premises.
How to get there
From Dolný Kubín, continue towards Kubínska hola. An asphalt road with parking lots leads to the lower cable car station.
Good to know
- Ski pass prices are dynamic - the earlier you buy online, the cheaper it is.
- Children under 6 years old ski for free when accompanied by an adult.
- In summer, the area is used for hiking.
