The first written mention of it dates back to 1267.<\/p>\n<h2>What will you see?<\/h2>\n<p>The castle is divided into lower, middle and upper. It has about 155 rooms in total and you will climb more than 750 steps to explore the entire castle. The exhibitions feature archaeology, history, ethnography and nature of Orava, one of the highlights is the chapel of St. Michael.
