{"id":32692,"date":"2026-10-07T22:26:37","date_gmt":"2026-10-07T20:26:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.kamnaorave.sk\/?post_type=kno_miesto&#038;p=32692"},"modified":"2026-10-07T22:26:37","modified_gmt":"2026-10-07T20:26:37","slug":"babia-hora-z-lipnice-wielkej-polsko","status":"publish","type":"kno_miesto","link":"https:\/\/www.kamnaorave.sk\/en\/miesto\/babia-hora-z-lipnice-wielkej-polsko\/","title":{"rendered":"Babia Hora from Lipnica Wielka (Poland)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>For the inhabitants of Polish Orava, which belonged to the Orava See until 1920, Babia Hora is the \u201eHoly Mountain of Orava.\u201c A green trail leads to the summit from the settlement of Przywar\u00f3wka and Polana Sta\u0144cowa in Lipnica Wielka \u2013 much quieter than the busy ascents from Zawoja or the Krowiarki Pass.<\/p>\n<h2>What will you see?<\/h2>\n<p>The route climbs through the forest of the Babiog\u00f3ra National Park through the place G\u0142odna Woda, higher up it is steeper and passes through a belt of pine trees to the bare rocky peak of Diablak (1,725 m). With good visibility, you can see the entire Tatras, the Orava Dam, the Orava Basin and the Beskydy Mountains.<\/p>\n<h2>Good to know<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>From Slovak Orava through the Bobrov \u2013 Winiarczyk\u00f3wka pass to Lipnica Wielka, then north to Przywar\u00f3wka.<\/li>\n<li>Allow 4-5 hours for the ascent and descent.
