Welcome to our original Krajinka sheepfold near Ru\u017eomberok, in the picturesque surroundings of the beautiful nature of Lower Liptov. The sheepfold was founded for breeding 1000 sheep in 1983 and we have preserved its original character and proven mountaineering traditions over the years.<\/p>\n

Liptov bryndza was already known beyond the borders of Upper Hungary in the 18th century. Bryndza is a soft cheese and is made from whole milk. In the 18th and 19th centuries, bryndza from Liptov was filled from wooden gelets, which were loaded onto rafts sailing down the V\u00e1h River to Sered. From there, it was transported to gourmet customers in Vienna, where it became popular with members of the royal family.<\/p>\n
It is located in the barn so that you can also look into the lives of sheep and lambs through a large glass wall while eating.<\/p>\n
