Are social networks a silent threat to society, or just a mirror of our times? How do algorithms affect us, where does our freedom end, and how far does the influence of digital platforms on real life extend?

Publicist, writer and translator Samuel Marec, author of the new book Social Networks Must Be Destroyed, will come to talk about the societal impacts of the online world. The discussion with the author and the audience will be led by STVR editor Zdenka Prílepková. We cordially invite you as part of our book program Library 360° / Impulses. The discussion is primarily intended for high school students, but the doors are also open to the general public – for all readers, those interested in current topics and enthusiasts of good literature.
