A. Kocyán Educational Trail in Oravice
The nature trail in Oravice is dedicated to Anton Kocyán (1836–1916), a forester, taxidermist, and expert on Tatra nature, who managed the forests of the Orava Compossessorate in Oravice and Zuberec from 1871 to 1910. The trail, opened in 2015, offers two routes – an easy family trail and a more challenging all-day circuit.
